Mohawk Valley Women's History Conference

May 18-20, 2018 held by the Oneida County History Center.

A 3-day history conference aimed to highlight the role of women in local history and promote women's issues in the greater Mohawk Valley. Speakers included experts in women's studies and history, and community leaders that are currently shaping the Mohawk Valley.

Friday: Conference Kick Off at Fort Schuyler Club, 5-7pm, with a tour of the renovations of the New Century Club across the street.

Saturday: Speakers present a variety of topics at the Oneida County History Center in Utica from 9:00am - 5:00pm with an optional dinner in the evening at Club Monarch in Yorkville with Keynote Speaker Trinh Troung.

Sunday: Head out on a guided bus tour with authors of Women Belong in History Books. Departs and returns at Bagg Commemorative Park in Utica (next to the Utica Children's Museum). Enjoy a tour of various sites relevant to women's history around greater Utica + includes a boxed lunch by Dominick's Deli.
